About me
I run and own Dandini's Dog Grooming in Portsmouth which was established 1962. I was lucky enough to join the business 10 years ago after training at Absolutely Animals in London and was mentored by Jan the current owner at the time who had been grooming for over 40 years herself. I took over the business 3 years later and have since trained other groomers who work with me still and help maintain the long standing reputation of the business. We strive to offer our clients a relaxed environment for their dogs, for the standard of pet grooming to be high and the dogs treated like one of our own. We believe in maintaining our standards by continually developing our skills through progressive training.
I now also run "The Training room at Dandini's" which is a private training school that runs along side the salon in a separate room at the rear of the building. I teach students to learn how to groom dogs and guide them through their Level 2 and 3 City and Guilds qualifications. I keep the training to very small groups having a maximum of only 3 students at once.
