About me

Ever since I was little I can always remember being around dogs and enjoying their company. Once I got a bit older I started getting involved in canine-related activities such as obedience and showing and this is where I really found out my true love and passion is dogs. The showing eventually became my main hobby and pretty much every weekend I would be travelling the country to compete, bond with my dogs and learn more about our beloved pets through some very wise people. I currently have 3 Whippets which I show - Oscar, Zayni & Demi. I also Co-own an Afghan Hound which I also show. As well as my own I also show other peoples dogs, this is where I’ve learnt how to handle different breeds and temperaments. As well as learning more about dog grooming, this became a developing interest of mine and I decided to further my knowledge in dogs I wanted to learn how to groom. I would spend a lot of time watching over top groomers at the shows and learning everything I could. I was fortunate enough that a lot of these people went out of their way to teach me the basics, after a few years of picking up all the tips I could I decided I wanted to learn even more so applied for the City & Guilds Dog Grooming Level 2 course I learned a huge amount on this course and passed it with flying colours, I instantly applied to do my Level 3 and set a new target to become a fully qualified dog groomer. I can now proudly say I have achieved this goal and I am now fully qualified to the industry standard. I really enjoy dog grooming, every day is different, every dog is different and you can never stop learning. You can usually find me walking my dogs on the beach or exploring the amazing dog-friendly nature reserves that North Wales has to offer in my spare time.
