About me

Hi, My name is Shona, I trained at Canine Groom School in Clitheroe. I obtained my level 2 & 3 city and guilds Dog grooming qualifications. I also have achieved track one and two ( CPG, CAPG) part of the ICMG qualification. I will be continuing my training to complete the ICMG qualification to become a qualified master groomer.

I opened the Barks dog grooming and Spa in March 2023. Where I wanted to create a calm and welcoming experience for your pooches and then for them to leave looking, feeling, and smelling their best. We groom all sizes from little to large and everything in between. You can also upgrade their bathing experience to our Ozon Hydrobath which can provide a deeper clean while delivering a deep tissue massage. Leave your pooch completely refreshed.

My favourite dogs to groom are Yorkies and Poodles I just love the transformations that can happen with both breeds.

I am passionate about grooming and education and regularly attend seminars.

I have completed a Pet First Aid course and I'm fully insured.
