About me
My passion for dogs began at an early age with our family pets. Growing up near a loch in Scotland meant many long walks and muddy paws so brushing and grooming was always a regular feature! I began working with dogs in the mid 1980's in show kennels where I discovered a love for grooming. I then moved to London where I eventually managed a busy salon, gaining my C&G along the way in 1992. I took an extended break from commercial grooming to care for a family member and found I loved it just as much when I returned!
I currently work on a 1-1 basis from my home and am very lucky to have a lovely relationship with my wonderful clients.
I enjoy competing and attending shows/seminars as there is something new to learn everyday!
I very much enjoy learning and also have a BA English & Creative Writing Hons (First Class).
I am currently working towards the ICMG qualification.

Elaine does a wonderful job on my two Cockapoos, Bella has a challenging tight coat and she always comes out looking beautiful. Bo has a much more relaxed coat and he always looks very handsome after a cut and groom by Elaine. Elaine has a lovely rapport with the dogs too.
I'd been looking for a dog groomer who can look after my 2 poodles demanding coats but more importantly I'd been looking for a groomer who can gain the dogs' trust and relieve particularly Pebbles' anxiety. I'm happy to say that both dogs love Elaine and massively enjoy being groomed and fussed over. Apart from that they look amazing whenever they come back. Elaine takes her time with each of them and has both of them there at the same time because they are happier that way.
Elaine is an excellent groomer,Harvey who is a Cocker spaniel and always has a thick curly hair to cut , He comes home looking very handsome after his hair cut Harvey loves going to have his hair cut although he does like to kiss Elaine ! She is very patience and great with dogs .
Elaine looks after my little Maggiedog. Maggie us a beagle and poodle cross and her coat is very fine with not a lot of undercoat.she akways comes away from Elaine looking absolutely beautiful and we get a lot of comments and questions as to who grooms her.

Elaine has looked after all our dogs joey maize milo tommy and mollie and alfie who sadley died this year they are 4 x Shih Tzu and was 2 sprocers,The dogs love her and greet her every time with so much excitement its almost unreal.Elaine is loverly greets and meets all of the dogs and us everytime and does wonders with them,she also is a walking wikipeda on dogs and always is there to help with any questions we have for her.Well if our familiy of dogs could talk they would tell you all themselves about how god and relaxed elaine is with them and will only groom at there speed so if 1 of the tribe is off colour she just takes her time and work with them making them comfortable and happy.We have meet a few groomers over the years but never anyone as good and pasionate about the dogs and groomming as Elaine.We all love what you do for our dogs Thank you Elaine for always grooming them and making them all feel so special
Elaine is an amazing dog groomer, her kind caring nature shows through when i drop my dog bella off. I would recommend Elaine to any dog lovers. My doggie has been coming to Elaine since she was a pup and turnes 5 this year. I can leave her knowing she is in good caring hands (gets spoilt) and loves a good blow dry. Thank you Elaine for always looking after bella and makng her look beautiful. You are so pasionate about grooming every dog is in amazinh hands. X
Barmy Barney loves visiting Elaine and always comes home looking and smelling gorgeous and is very chillled and relaxed for the rest of the day! I couldn't recommend Elaine enough. My crazy cocker definitely won the lottery when we found his groomer.

We have been using Elaine with our Cockapoo Cookie for the past 8+ years & she is absolutely wonderful. I couldn’t ask for a better person to groom our dog. Cookie always leaves looking wonderful & most of all is happy to go each time! And she always sleeps so well afterwards!! Highly recommend & wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Elaine is absolutely amazing, I wouldn't trust anybody else with our dog. She took the time to get to know her and do a couple of sessions with her prior to grooming her to desensitise her to the instruments as my girl can be a bit nervous. Our dog looks amazing every time! Elaine is super friendly and knows her stuff, 10 out of 10!
