About me
Hi I’m Lizzie
Owner of Shampoodles Chesterfield, I opened my salon in 2007 and have been grooming for 20 years now
I am ICMG (international certified master groomer) Qualifed since 2016
in the past few years I have attended private training with some of the country’s best groomers for Airedales, Asian Fusion Grooming, Competition grooming, Bedlington grooming and Cocker spaniel grooming
I compete at Champion Level with my mixed breed Poochon and open level in the poodle class, this year I attended my first International competition with a Poodle in a commercial class at Groomania Belgium
I have a keen interest in Breed standard grooming but also enjoy Asian fusion and mixed breed grooming in teddy styles
This year my salon was shortlisted for Pet grooming business of the year for the PIF awards which are held In November
In Summer 2023 I became a brand ambassador for Peanut & Pickle and use these products in my salon, all are natural and cruelty free
I am taking clients that will book annually and stay on a schedule

Highly recommended. I have been taking my cockerpoo to Lizzie at Shampoodles since his very first puppy groom. From full groom to teeth cleaning, I could not be happier with the services provided. Monty always leaves Lizzie’s care looking like a new dog and receives many compliments. Not only that, he always leaves the salon a very happy, contented boy. We’ve actually moved out of Chesterfield now but still return to Lizzie and her team at Shampoodles, as I would not be comfortable taking Monty to anyone else.
Lizzie is amazing I would not hesitate In recommending her she has been grooming my 3 westies since 2008 sadly 2 have since passed I would not dream of going anywhere else I trust her totally
Cannot recommend Lizzie enough. She is professional, friendly and incredibly talented. We, and many of our friends and family, have been taking our dogs to Lizzie for years and every single groom is exquisite. Lizzie and her team are great with the animals, I have complete confidence in leaving our pets in their very capable hands. Only the best products are used and you can really tell. I would never go anywhere else, 10/10.
I have been going to Lizzie since 2012, her and her team have done amazingly well with my three very difficult Westie’s . I would highly recommend her services.
Our Fox Terrier, Ted has been groomed by Lizzie for 6 years. He can be quite challenging in the salon as he is not a big fan of being groomed. Despite his behaviour Lizzie always manages to hand strip him and he looks fabulous every time. We have now introduced our Welsh terrier to the salon and hopefully she will be better behaved for Lizzie. Cannot praise Lizzie enough for her expertise, patience and professionalism, wouldn’t take them to anyone else
Couldn’t recommend Lizzie enough. We took our puppy Daisy for the first time and as always I felt happy to leave her there and she came out looking just as I had asked. Lizzie groomed out other dog for several year prior and I wouldn’t have taken Daisy anywhere else. Highly recommend and always recommend to friends with dogs x
Lizzie has been grooming all my pets since she started as a groomer. She has groomed my Westies, my Working Cocker and now my naughty little Scottie which she is handstripping for me. She is very patient with her and Bonnie looks amazing when she leaves the Salon, as does my Cocker too.
Lizzie is such a good groomer! She knows how to groom all sorts of breeds and is even great with my psycho poodle! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Lizzie has now hand stripped my young Airedale Terrier twice. Each time is has looked fantastic and she handles the breed really well. I would highly recommend!!
Lizzie has been grooming my pet since he was just a few months old as well as our other dog we had until this year who was so nervous of other dogs but was always happy to go with Lizzie and her amazing team. Since being on his own Bailey is so clingy but gets so much love as he is made such a fuss of from walking in the salon door. Needless to say he will never go anywhere else as the trust and confidence I have in Lizzie to look after him and the groom he gets is second to none.
Absolutely fantastic groomer, I wouldn’t take my dog to anyone else. Not only the best groomer but also had such a lovely approach to dogs and you know they are safe while in her care. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lizzie has been grooming for more years than I can remember and does a fantastic job with all the dogs she grooms. She has built up a dedicated team of groomers who provide top class grooming and care and a huge number of loyal customers. My dogs always come back looking and smelling amazing too!
My Pomeranian, Poppy loves her monthly pamper session at Shampoodles. She comes home prancing and posing and looks absolutely gorgeous and she smells it to. We also have a chiwawa who is very nervous and this is the only place who he will allow to cut his nails. I wouldn’t dream of taking my 2 pooches any where else.
Lizzie and her team are absolutely amazing. I have tried countless other groomers and not one compares. She takes the time to listen and always deliveres. I feel so comfortable leaving my girls with her, and they always come home looking and smelling amazing
I can say no more than 'simply the best' I have take Bailey to Lizzie from a puppy, he is now 9 years old. He always looks beautiful when I pick him up. A big thank you to Lizzie and her wonderful team.
I can’t recommend Lizzie enough. She is the only groomer I have ever taken my fur babies to. Snoop’s first groom was with Lizzie as a puppy and he is still going nearly 9 years later! She does a fabulous job with my grumpy spaniel and geriatric dachshund. They always look and smell amazing after their trips. She is always very accommodating at fitting them in around my work schedule. So many of my own veterinary clients also visit her salon, never a bad word to be said!!
We own a super 8 year old Westie called Clemmie,who,unfortunately, has many allergies. As well as immunotherapy injections monthly, the vet recommended a bath in Malaseb every 3 weeks and a cut every 6. We approached Lizzie and she was delighted to help us. Lizzie and her team are just brilliant and Clemmie is a fantastic specimen now. The vet calls her “The whitest Westie in Chesterfield” and she is not wrong. All this is down to Shampoodles. I could not recommend them more strongly.
I have owned Airedales since the 80’s and always had them hand stripped. Since having my latest, Ralph, Lizzie has stripped him twice, and I must say she has made a great job, better than any previous. Not only that, You can just feel the love and genuine interest that Lizzie and her team, have for our dogs. Would definitely recommend without hesitation.
Lizzie and her team are excellent. They are really skilled in what they do but are also super friendly and always have a listening ear to me being a new dog owner! Freddie doesn’t protest in anyway about going and is in no rush to leave! Evident how brill they all are and show love to the pooches! Stumbled by you accident but so chuffed I did! My 14 year old Shih-tzu cross, Dougal, has been visiting Lizzie at Shampoodles all his life. After shopping around in the early days I settled on being loyal to Lizzie because of the caring service and exceptional standards of animal care and grooming. Now Dougal is old and grumpy (sometimes naughty) he's still welcomed by Lizzie who has a kind way of dealing with him and he trusts her to do the essential grooming he needs. I can't recommend Lizzie highly enough. I would not go to anyone else, many thanks Lizzie xx

Lizzie has been grooming our dogs for years now. She is alway happy to offer advise and help when we pick them up. Our dogs love going and they alway come out looking fantastic. Would recommend Lizzie and Shampoodles to friends and family. Andy
Lizzie has been grooming our two border terriers for a long time they love to see her , she makes a brilliant job of there coats and the smell lovely after her treatments , she has a kind caring attitude towards all dogs and has a vast knowledge in her profession , her hard work and dedication to animals shines through , I would highly recommend Lizzie as a dog groomer

Lizzie is an excellent groomer. My dog Martha is quite nervous but she always gets excited to see Lizzie and Lizzie always does a lovely job with her. She’s runs an excellent salon with a lovely team. Wouldn’t go anywhere else
We have a Kerry Blue Terrier and an Airedale Terrier. Lizzie grooms them so good! She is a perfectionist and always strives to better herself! Couldn’t wish for a better groomer!
My Dogs have been groomed by Lizzie since 2008. No only are the grooms well executed, she cares about the individual dogbsnd understand the owners personal needs and situation. I wouldn't take my boys anywhere else.

Lizzy os now grooming the 4th generation of my shihtzu's i initially visited back in 2007 with my first shihtzu and i have been going ever since, she has an amazing way with her cleints, every furbaby i have owned just loves her. She is amazing at what she does and my dogs always come home looking fabulous and smelling wonderful. One of my dogs was particularly troublesome due to painful elbow dysplasia bit lizzy worked with him and found a way to help him when being groomed by trying different methods to prevent his discomfort,using bathing as a way to ease his pain etc... despite her best efforts she still got nibbled occasionally but was always understanding and kind, she is an absolute diamond and an asset to the industry.she is training also the next generation to be exactly the same and to be of the same standard. I would not take my precious furbabies anywhere else or to anyone else apart from lizzy and her team at shampoodles absolutely 5star service.x.x.
