About me
Hello, I started my career in 1988 working in a boarding kennels in East Sussex doing a youth training scheme in Dog Grooming. I did my grooming training with Gill East at Canine Comforts grooming academy in London. After my training, I worked at a busy salon in London for a brief period then worked mobile in Lewes, East Sussex.
I then worked for Guide Dogs For The Blind Association in Wokingham, Berkshire for 5 years as kennel staff and then kennel Supervisor.
I returned to dog grooming in 1997 in Eastbourne and then Horsham Pets at Home stores, and in 1999 I took over the franchise at Horsham store. I have since run my own grooming business which became Groomingdales when I moved away from Horsham.
I now run a small, quiet salon at a residential setting, where I groom small to medium dogs only.
I take a lot of pride in my work, have a good relationship with my clients and pride myself on providing a good service and giving dogs a positive and calm grooming experience . As a small, quiet salon, I take on a lot of nervous dogs that do not cope well in a busy salon.
