About me
I established my busiess 17 years ago . Shaw Dog Grooming Academys located in the beautiful East Devon Market Town of Sidmouth. Becoming a Professional Dog Groomer was the best career decision I have ever made. From day one I knew this was the right career choice for me! I have worked with many wonderful dogs and their owners over the years. I have also been fortunate enough to work as an Animal Care Lecturer at Bicton college ( 5 years) where I worte and delivered Dog Grooming Courses including the City & Guilds L2 Certificate for Dog Grooming Assistants . In 2013 I went onto establishing my own training centre where I now deliver the City & Guilds L2 & L3 Dog Grooming Qualifications, the OCNL3 Diploma and short five day training courses. My Qualifications are: BA (hons) 2:1 Theatre & Education , PGCE , Level 3 NPTC Professional Diploma . Level 3 City & Guilds Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement , OCNL3 Pet First Aid , BSL 1 Sign Language. I love sharing my knowledge and my passion for grooming.
