About me
After many years of working in both boarding kennels & grooming salons I decided to open my own grooming salon in 2012. Rosie's Grooming Room is a small salon run from my home in Yarpole, on the Herefordshire/Shropshire border. I pride myself on providing a kind and caring service where the welfare of your dog always comes first.
I am professionally trained and hold my City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma for Professional Dog Stylists and I am an International Certified Master Groomer. I have also completed an OCN Level 3 accredited animal first aid course. I have a commitment to Continued Professional Development and update my training regularly, attending seminars both to learn new skills and keep up to date with modern techniques.
Dogs are groomed on an individual basis to help ensure the minimum of stress for your dog during their visit. My priority is always to treat all dogs with kindness and respect.

It took me a lot of searching to find AJ. I wanted a qualified groomer who would take time, care and attention to groom my field spaniels. AJ has worked with my old dods and my puppies. Making sure they are groomed to my requirements. 3 pet cuts and 1 show cut for my Crufts qualified dog.
There is only one word to describe AJ and that is superb. Mr Jones my show cocker is not the easiest client with having a serious heart condition but I never fear leaving him with AJ for a couple of hours every six weeks. I have lost count of how many compliments we have about his coat and wound never hesitate to recommend her. We are very lucky to have found her.
AJ has been cutting my Westie's coat for many years. My dog always comes home looking fantastic and most importantly happy. I also really like the fact that AJ is very knowledgeable regarding pet health and has been able to advise with many of Tess' ailments. Simply put she is fantastic and I highly recommend her.

Aj has been grooming our Cavaliers for a number of years and they always look amazing afterwards no matter how scruffy they look before a session! Aj has the experience and knowledge to handle very nervous dogs and when we took our old girl who had numerous health problems we were always confident Aj would put Mai first and go at her pace. We cannot recommend Aj highly enough and even though we have moved we still drive 30 mins to continue to get our dogs groomed at Rosie's as we wouldn't trust anyone else as much.
We have been visiting AJ since she started her business in Yarpole, first of all with Bailey our golden retriever and now with Nell our golden retriever puppy. AJ is brilliant, she has always treated our dogs with care, kindness and patience and does a brilliant job grooming. We have always received compliments on their coats and always refer her to anyone who asks. AJ is a fantastic groomer and I have no hesitation in recommending her.

Lynn Fenney. When our Bolognese, Beau was 5 months old we took him along to AJ on a recommendation from a friend, it was the best decision we ever made with regards to the most professional, kind , gentle person you could ever meet. Now 4 years on I can honestly say that we would never go to anyone else. Beau is all white and can be difficult for us as disabled people to keep him pristine and AJ,s caring and understanding means we never have to worry. To say we would recommend her to any dog owner is an understatement, and we thank her so much for the genuine love and care she gives to Beau.
When we first got our little Princess Cockerpoo, we met a couple in Ludlow who also had a cocker, we asked where they had their dog groomed and they recommended AJ, it was the best decision that we ever made, AJ treats your dog like a family member the same as you do, she is absolutely amazing, and more importantly Amber adores her which for me is the most important thing, as then you know that she is being treated well and enjoying the experience. to finalise AJ is a little Gem to whom we would recommend to anyone.

I wish I could always go to Ann-Jane, she is so good. I book in whenever I visit relatives in Yarpole. She is so much better than anyone I have tried before. Could you move to near where I live, Ann-Jane. Please!
